Purpose and operation of Hoerbiger’s piezoelectric actuators
The actuators can be supplied with two operating modes, either with integrated electronics using a standard BUS compatible with the WAC© system bus or without electronics for machines without many actuators installed.
A large variety of configurations are available to match the different machine models:
- Single row or double row
- From 6 to 8 or 16 levers
- Various lever angles available
- Standard or CNC levers for special shapes and different hardnesses
- A variety of connectors: D-sub, flat or with pre-installed lead
- Different ways of assembling the levers to suit different ways of attaching the actuator (top, bottom, right, left)

- Components are fully and rapidly replaceable, with no need for adjustments
